It was a dark and bleary Friday

I do believe it's gonna rain. Oh well. Hopefully it blows over by noon. Why noon? Dad and Grandad postponed their Friday morning golf game until noon so they could attend the house inspection this morning (10am). That will clear the last of MY obligations on conditions for the house sale.

I was so motivated last night (even after eating Chinese that sent my body into a tailspin for some reason), I cleaned out my filing cabinet and the desk. I have two boxes of recycling to part with because while I'm not the packrat my parents are, I apparently felt the need to keep my phone bills from university. They're gone now.

Tonight, I'd like to go through my two bookcases and purge there. I'm also whittling through my magazines. I'll keep my Shape mags, but the rest -- bah. Who cares?

Actually, now that I've got a September 30th deadline (and I'm notifying the landlady August 1), I've got a checklist of eight things I need to do by August 1. I'm down to 6 left. Will be down to 4 by Saturday. I want the landlady to have NOTHING to comment over (not that there really is anything to comment over) when I tell her the news.

And on that note, I shall go scram. I need to go humanize myself and drive out to the 'shwa for the Inspection. Then, back into Toronto to go to work.

And -- damnit! It NEEDS to clear up! The Wench is supposed to go golfing with her son at 3pm!!!
