Dearheart, Saturday and Sunday are sacred holy days. They are the days that Mummy gets to sleep in. It's quiet time where no soccer ball with an unholy squeak to it is smuggled upstairs and squeaked in my face. It's a still time where a dog does NOT rearrange himself on the bed and then swat his tail into my face continuously. It is a peaceful time where there is no whining, pawing, pestering or groaning.
And most importantly, dear one, it's only an hour more than Monday through Friday. Suck. It. Up.
