Wow. I'm like, beyond bored. Oh, I know I just have to be a little patient. Ozlady is on her way home from work, and we're going out.

She's having issues with a spoiled brat, right now. I'll get more on the full story later, but I feel for her because it's certainly shit that no full grown adult should expect to receive from another theoretically full grown adult. And, hey, I love Ozlady but I do admit she's got a huge ego, so some of you who read this will feel no sympathy for her. She wouldn't be the person she is without that ego, though, and I adore her heart of gold.

Anyway, her party on Saturday rocked. Common Rotation was beyond awesome, and I had a sincerely good time. I did discover, however, that the days of sitting in a room and getting thoroughly drunk are so over for me. I don't want deep intellectual conversations over vodka. It doesn't work for me. And, sometimes I think I have a hearing disorder because I find it difficult to hear when there's so many conversations going on.

So I had to amuse myself this morning. Read Dr. Atkins newest book out of curiosity. I'm still sticking to the Sommersize program, though, because it works and I don't have to count NOTHING. I finished that book, though, and started on another called Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. It's interesting.

Because Ozlady is a supporter of the Bronze Beta, I scanned the board this morning. Dear God, if I thought it could be disjointed some days in the past, I was so wrong! Do they even KNOW what the word "topic" is?

And I think that concludes my rambling thoughts of the day. Driving home to TO on Wednesday.

OOH! I forgot. I spun the new car in a big fierce way on the 401 as I made my way to the US border. Keep in mind, we had freezing rain ALL day and ALL night on Thursday/Friday, my drive which started at 4am was dreadful through the Canadian side. When a car in front of me swerved, I had no choice but hit the brakes or steer into the guardrail. The car in front moved ahead, while I went circular. Fortunately, I successfully steered out of the spin (and avoided the rail) and got the car back into the right direction and moving before the transport trailer behind me could get in dangerous position of impact. I woke up FULLY at that point. Adrenalin. The major kick in the pants.

The car, and driver, obviously, are fine.

Ta-dah! There's the world according to Anya. Until there's anything else newsworthy to report, I'm out.
