I was in the mood to write today, really. Woke up, eager to go. But, by the time I got Drew to work, a few chores done around my home, and sat down to write, I had managed to earn a wicked headache. Here we are, hours later, and yeah -- I did get a bit written. About 3500 words, but the most important scene won't spill out on paper. Dammit. I'll try again tomorrow, I guess.
Mentally broken
Oct. 19th, 2012 07:38 pmSo, tonight, standing in a cue to load my Prestocard (GO Train pass/fare) for the next two weeks, it struck me -- I can't remember my PIN for my debit card.
To which, I racked my brain, and still found an incredibly broad null spot where knowledge should have been. Leaving me to conclude: I've been obliviated! (TM J.K Rowling) Fortunately, I was able to fumble a bit, play an "aha" moment, and escape the line without other commuters realize there's a twit in the cue.
Even more fortunately, there was enough fare on the card to pay for the ride home.
Now, if only I could stop the mental decline of memory retention, and remember the damn PIN.
