The Prime Minister of Canada, Paul Martin, has done something that impressed me. The idea that Church and State should be separated in policy, in this modern age, has seemed to be pushed aside by politicians. And it's wrong. WRONG to force the Catholic faith, or ANY faith down the throat of a culture that is supposed to be diverse.
So, Martin's statement that while being a faithful Catholic in his own life, but keeping his faith separate from his role as politician and instead respecting the law of our Court system, our Constitution and our human rights just... makes me proud of him.
Go Canada.
You don't suck at all!
