I set the goal, this weekend, to re-reading the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter novels. Lofty goal considering I'm not overwhelmingly enamoured by the series. I'm not fond of "first person" writing styles.
Anyway, so I managed to get through the first five books. Earlier this evening I decided to hell with it. I'm not staying up to wee hours of the morn reading The Killing Dance.
Enter, Anita Blake Compendium and their wonderful little 'chapter summeries'. How easy it makes life.
Visited the 'rents yesterday. Was nice. Lazy. I attempted to clean the apartment, do laundry, be productive today. I succeeded in sleeping the morning away, and reading the rest of the day away. Oh well.
Work week is looming ahead. I find myself wishing desperately I could win the lottery so I could do the lotto commercial where I wander in and give 'em a piece of my mind before I say 'adios'. Ah well. Such is not meant to be in my life.
