The Shepherd's pie without the Shepherd
Oct. 21st, 2003 06:25 pmOkay, so essentially, it's a plain ol' meat pie. It tasted GREAT on Saturday (when I initially made it). Tasted GREAT on Monday when I reheated a slice and had it for lunch at work.
Today... I think it's hit it's "taste's great" expiration point. Oh well. I should have made the toasted bacon sandwich after all. However, the lemon meringue pie was still very nummy. In fact, so nummy it's all gone now!
:(
Eh, I'll bake another tomorrow. Or maybe next one will be cherry.
Took a new route home tonight. Adventurous woman I am, I decided to take 19th Avenue, join up with Durham Route 5 and let it lead me out to Ashburn Rd. Was very peaceful, speeded without anyone slowing me down and it took a sliver less time than a more direct route.
Must consider this alternative further.
Now, I'm bound for a nap.
