Warning labels
Dec. 11th, 2004 03:59 pmGah. Switchplates for dimmer-switches should come with warning labels. Cautionary of opening the package alerts. Yes. They should.
Why?
Because some people on the planet are klutzes. Example A: Me.
Opening the plastic surrounding the switchplate caused me to slice the metal DEEP into my index finger. So deep, I wasn't sure I didn't need stitches or something. Fortunately, though it took 20-30 minutes, I got the bleeding stopped.
(And Lucky learned some new words!)
Dad and Mom popped over -- and Mom went to get bandages after her mild freak-out. Dad & I agree that had if the cut wasn't stopped in a few hours, they I'd go to the hospital.
It's now five hours later, and all is quiet. But, the moral of the story is this: switchplates are dangerous, and keeping a stock of bandages in the house aint such a bad idea.
I'm a goof.
