Phenomenal!
Oct. 12th, 2005 01:48 amWhat a great night! Yeah, I had to work late due to a cocktail party for "Wish" magazine's 1-year celebration. And, after that, a photoshoot at our new store at GO Union Station... but in the process of getting a parking spot (which my DM Colleen managed to get for free! On a hockey night! FREE! That's a savings of $35), we crossed through to the Air Canada Centre and right into Scalpers trying to rid themselves of the last handful of tickets they had for tonight's Leafs vs Flyers game.
Both Arlene and Colleen paused, and then said incredulously "You're selling tickets when the game is half over? Are you nuts?" Next thing I knew, we had three tickets for the green section. Seats were high up, but pretty damn good. I could still read the numbers on the back of jerseys and see the entire rink overall. Leafs won 4-2, and considering how well disciplined I think the Flyers are, that made the game really REALLY involving.
Then the photo-shoot, which went smoothly. And home now. At 1:39pm. But, I get to sleep in and toddle in for 10:30am. All is good in my world.
So, in short, phenomenally good night, and I'm in a brilliantly great mood. Off to dream happy dreams!
