Stuff I learned today...

I removed, cleaned up and installed a new toilet today. Yup. Proud as punch of my accomplishment which was easier than I ever dreamed, but still a lot of work.

Baby brother was tired of the noise coming from the old tank, and while I explained all I had to do was change the flapper, he wanted a new unit purchased. Enter the The Bold Look of Kohler Heh. The model he bought? The Serif top-pull. It's very nice. Papa came over to supervise and he was impressed too. I think the days of my Dad opting for the cheapest units rather than spending a little more are just about over.

All in all, I'm pooped. It's scorching today. And I still have to get rid of the boxes, dispose of the old unit, and clean the mess I made up.

I wonder if I could sneak a nap in first?
