Ah, nice busy Saturday. I can't wait for one that's not busy, or keeping me active all damn day. It'll be nice to have one where I can linger in bed till noon'ish, wander downstairs in pj's and sit and eat a bowl of ice-cream for breakfast.

Problems with that goal?
a) Dog needs out or else he goes frantic.
b) Hi, I'm the cook, the cleaner, and the chauffeur for the family.
c) Ice cream? Oh yes, one of the banned substances in this house.

The cooking / eating healthy dynamo is working out great. I'm so pleased with the meals I'm making, and it's been easier to keep on track with my fitness goals because I am enjoying my food. I haven't had soda in a week, and have phased out fruit juices with high sugar content. It's water, herbal teas and natural lemonaide (Lemons + water). The reaction headache from no caffeine lingers, but it's coupled by the body's instinctive abhorance to having sugar cut out too.

All good... I'm back into my skinny jeans. Progress is being seen. I just have this dream of being smaller than a size 6. It's insane, I should be happy, but oh no. I want more. MORE. Actually, a totally flat belly would be nice. If I can just make a space in my bedroom where I can do my pilates comfortably I could up that process to 4x per week, rather than the twice I'm getting at the gym. Either that or win the lottery and get the instant gratification of lypo.

Work is workish still. I don't enjoy the 3 hours of driving per day, but eh. Got to pay the bills. The cleaners for the house on a two week rotation is working out brilliantly. House has never consistently stayed so clean ever before. Thus far, 3 months + going strong. Whee! My inner cleanaholic is so happy.

But back to what kept today from being fully relaxing? We had our board (condo) walk-around today. It took 2 hours, and at the end, all I could hear in my head was "ka-ching!" I'll have to play with the budget a wee bit. Still, some aluminium siding needs done, new roofs on one row of units, and the playground needs new swings, and serious fence repairs.

Following that, I did the baking for next week, and loaded the freezer up with my lunches and impromptu "I don't wanta cook" dinners. Then, laundry. I did research on playground equipment while watching The Goonies, and now with the laundry folded, baby bro at a Jack'n'Jill -- I await for a phone call that's an hour late. Hee.

Tomorrow will be as pathetic as today. I'm taking the dog for a hike, hitting the gym to produce further sweat, helping rip out the old 'sandbox' inside the playground (which is all sand) and then playing at the 'rents.

Hopefully, if I get time, and it doesn't rain too much, I can get some work done in the garage. And price a new front door out at the Home Depot.

Yup. I sure do know how to chill on the weekends. And the alarm just chimed 11...the dog is passed out, and I think he's got the right darn idea.
