Interesting
Jan. 8th, 2003 03:05 pmSo, because I'm such a diligent hard-worker when counting out logos for various promotional fixtures (Blah!), I'm distracting myself regularly with things of interest.
One such thing: Shape.com. I love Shape magazine. No, seriously, I do. They're practical, down-to-earth with their weight-training advice and give options. Nothing is so boring as a weight routine you do time and time again. Variety IS the spice of life. (Says the bland eating moi.)
Anyway, their routine for the "Jump Start your Weightloss", in the gym and in stretching was nifty. With the exception of execution on the rolled towel knee-stretch and alternate rolled towel knee stretch, I do *everything* they've got, only using more intensive machines or free weights. Wow. I feel on track. Like, seriously. A year ago, this kind of routine would have had me whimpering, but now it's "Hey. I do that. And that. And that."
I guess this means Shawn is really earning his money! Nifty!
