What I Did at Work Today

At a salary that breaks down to $25/hr, I should like to inform management of what I did today:

I did NOT produce any new promotional contracts.
I did NOT resolve any category management issues in our stores
I did NOT issue invoices, follow up on unpaid invoices or order fixtures.
I did NOT deal with the new fixtures placements for 2004 programs.
I did NOT deal with franchisee requests for titles.
I did NOT deal with new store openings
I did NOT deal with missing RDA monies

I did, however, create a master template for The Wench's stepdaughter's wedding. And I am burning the CD's now.

I did, however, scan pictures The Wench brought in for this shindig.

I did, however, create an 8 page CD Insert (and my, is it kick-ass) for this wedding CD, that will be given to all the guests.

I did, however, prepare a label for the CD.

So. What precisely did I do today that justifies Gateway paying me my salary?

I spent a half hour dealing with a vendor on technical equipment I shouldn't be dealing with anyway. Hello? ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT PERSON HERE!

All in all, I'm amused. And, ooh, perks of working late when you don't have internet at home: INTERNET. Withdrawal is a bitch.
