Purging...

So, I'm cleaning out the garage today and posted a list of junk (books, old microwave, computer cart, old typewriter) to Freecycle to pick up.

This is therapeutic. It's really been irking me to see all this crap in the garage, and I'm feeling good about taking steps to get rid of it.

However, I notice it's planting seeds in my head. I'm looking around now for other junk I can offload. *smirk* I will NOT freecycle my comic books. Some of those are worth money. Not a lot of money, I don't have a Spiderman #1 saved, but I do have a whopping collection of older X-Men's, the first few Unlimiteds, I have a nearly full New Mutuants collection, and all of Jim Lee's Wildcats. I have a lot more than that, but those jump to mind. My problem is, how to I get them appraised and offload them? I'm not expecting to make a fortune, but I'd like to make something more than nothing for them. Y'know? After all the work of storing them in non-acidic bags with boards, and keeping them from fading... a lot of them are NM if not M condition. Older ones from when I was kid not so much, but eh.

Any suggestions on what I should do with the comic books? Bueller?
