CBC Sunday news -- apparently there's a US senator that wants walls built between Canada & the US. Physical dividing border walls.

Hee. I knew we were at war. It's like a Russian cold war sort of thing. *snort*

Yes, I'm warped, but the idea of a "wall" amused me. Centuries (at least 1) of historical "longest undefended border" turfed due to paranoia. Sweet.

Dude, don't even laugh. We've got troops in Detroit just waiting to take over Windsor.

By the way, do you remember who that Senator was?

G'ahead. Take Windsor. We'll just eventually mobilize, go down, burn the White House down *again* and come home after we've proved our point.

Though, if you want to take Quebec, we probably won't say bug-a-boo about it. I'd even send a 'thank you' note.

I'm sure many Americans wouldn't mind having Quebec, especially if all y'all also shipped off the current inhabitants of the White House to be tried for war crimes while you were down here. ;)

Do we have to try them? Couldn't we execute first and find quilty later? It's more cost-saving...

Good point. It's not like we don't have plenty of evidence.

Also, it seems you're not the only one who thought the US government might attack Quebec. Lucky for you, they decided on Iran instead (http://www.newyorker.com/fact/content/articles/060417fa_fact).

Dammit. Well, maybe next war the US can make a grab for Quebec. It'll be fun to watch. I'll make popcorn.

actually he's a senator who originally opposed the wall idea - very strongly in fact - who is now saying that he supports it because he thinks that the government has utterly failed at coming up with non-physical solutions for the illegal immigration problems. However I can't remember his name... and now of course I'm doubting the acturacy of my memory of the NPR report I heard... *sigh* stupid brain.

though there are a couple of republicans who actually proposed the bill in the first place... Kyl, and Isakson are two of the prominent names.

It's just that once they've passed the draft & the entire population between 18 - 35 is in the miliary, we're going to need extra room to run all those boot camps, so they want to build the wall portion of the obstacle course early.

Ah. That makes sense. And watching those draftees JUMP the wall will be inneresting. And fun.
