Howling to the Moon
Feb. 7th, 2003 09:22 amRandom thoughts this morning. The Wench is working from home today (Yeah. Right.) so I have the luxury of contemplating life, the universe and the idiots in it.
So, I'm ranting today. Since I have a sum and total of 3 posts to my name, I'm just going to expunge all my frustrations. Ignorant as they may be.
I'm a Canadian. Let's get that announced right and clear in case Big Brother is Watching. I'm an average Canadian citizen who pays moderate to mild attention to the news, but can think outside of the box. So, all statements below are personal opinions and should not be taken in any other manner except as such.
War Issues
George Bush is a raving warmongering idiot. He will plunge our world into WWIII at the rate he's going, and I am personally convinced Middle Eastern / Korea countries of the world will not hesitate to use nuclear weapons. A nuclear weapon would be beyond detrimental. It would make Hiroshema look like a small gag.
Can he NOT mind his own goddamn business? Do I like the Middle East attitudes towards women? No. Do I like the Middle East terrorist activities? No. But, I honestly do feel if the US had kept their attitude, policies and demands OUT of the Middle East, the terrorist acts in New York may never have happened! The American way of government is NOT the ONLY way!
Bush has teenagers killing teenagers in schools, disasters all across his country, and he's wanting to play soldier with foreign powers? Don't be a world power, be your country's power and look after the people you owe responsibility to.
I do NOT want Canada dragged into this potential war. I'm seriously thinking Switzerland is looking good. It's not that I support Hussein, because I don't, but I do believe his perceived aggressions are in part due to the US pressures on him, his way of life, and his people. Ego is a painful thing. I don't think Bush or the US peoples would like it much of Tony Blair were to dictate how they must operate, what weapons they as a power could have, and limit their play in the world.
And, what the FUCK is up with Korea? Is this a world gone completely mad? Do they want a century of their children being sick? Soil unable to support life? Why is testosterone being allowed free run? And, if the Korean Business Association in Toronto starts up, I'm going to go absolutely psycho.
As it is, were I skilled enough to do it, I'd go on a mercenary run, free of charge and axe every one of these warmongering idiots that will plunge our world into it's darkest period ever.
You know, the good old "Braveheart" days of swords and shit doesn't look so bad. At least the earth doesn't suffer for the war mankind makes.

Man, I've never seen anything so stupid in my life than this. Of course, this sentiment is coming from a woman who has the TV on for perhaps 3 hours of any given week.
What's the fascination with a program that allows for automatically generated replies? In some way, it's like watching a herd of lemmings go running off a cliff. I so don't get it. No, really, I've read the replies this thing is generating and I just have to say it's seriously half-asked. Dumb. (Not the people fascinated by it, the concept OF it.)
And that concludes my rants for today. I'm actually in a rather good mood. Landlady is gone until Sunday and has given me access to the garage until then, my doctor only wants a followup appointment, and I'm leaving early today.
What more could a woman want?
